Clos Pons was born in Lleida after the great frost of 2001, when the Pons family decided to convert part of their olive grove estate into a viticultural project. Today, we cultivate organic vineyards between 500 and 700 meters above sea level, on calcareous and stony soils, under a dry continental climate with a marked thermal oscillation between day and night.
In the winery, minimal intervention and micro-vinification plot by plot. Aging takes place in stainless steel, French oak, foudres, and concrete, depending on what each wine requires, with one goal: to shape wines with tension, freshness, and a clear sense of place.
