Organic red wine, long-aged, from the Pobla de Cervoles estate in southern Lleida. 9 hectares of old dry-farmed vines cultivated at 700 metres altitude, at the foot of the Sierra de la Llena. Made with equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Garnacha tinta, a wine of solid and mature structure that displays the depth and composure of a wine built for ageing. The tannins, initially firm, are today tamed and well integrated. The Garnacha contributes a broad and enveloping palate, with silky and harmonious texture. Roc Nu shows notes of ripe fruit, compote, roasted and anised nuances, an amalgam of aromas and flavours that linger long on the palate. The magnum format (1.5 L) proportionally reduces oxygen contact, favouring a slower and more harmonious evolution. The result is better integrated tannins and acidity, a silkier and rounder texture on the palate, and greater ageing potential and complexity. Ideal for game meats, red meats, stews, cured cheeses and Iberian charcuterie.
