At Clos Pons we cultivate 48 hectares of organic vineyards in the DO Costers del Segre, south of Lleida, between 500 and 700 m altitude. The extreme continental climate and stony soils of Les Garrigues give our grapes concentration and a marked minerality. Garnacha, Tempranillo, Syrah, Macabeo, Albariño and Xarel·lo.
This high-altitude vineyard is the birthplace of red wines with deep fruit and silky tannins, and white wines Fresh and elegant, where oak aging is integrated without masking the expression of the terroir. Our range is completed with sparkling wines produced under the DO (Denomination of Origin). Digging, with a second fermentation in the bottle and fine bubbles, designed for those who enjoy subtlety and freshness in every glass.

Clos Pons was born from a frost. In 2001, the loss of much of the family olive grove opened the path to a new winemaking project in Les Garrigues Altes. Today it is an estate of organic vineyards between 500 and 700 metres altitude, within DO Costers del Segre, with one clear aim: to express through wine a dry, austere and demanding landscape.
The continental climate of Les Garrigues brings cool nights, dry summers and strong temperature contrasts that slow ripening and preserve natural acidity. Calcareous, stony soils add tension and minerality. The result is wines with the character of a place, not a cellar.
The range
Estate white wines and red wines: Jan, Sisquella, Alges and Roc Nu. Collection wines: Roc de Foc, Aura, Cingles, Pla del Tet, Malbec and Serie 800.
